We just celebrated our 25th annual Christmas and Candlelight at the State Park where I work. Every year we make 400 fresh wreaths and swags. We start the Monday after Thanksgiving and finish hanging the greenery by Friday. The streets are filled with over 2000 luminaries and you can tour the historic homes which are adorned with pine cones, berries, magnolia, and evergreens. The town is absolutely beautiful with the glow of candlelight and the feeling that you have somehow been magically transported back in time.
We have volunteers that decorate the homes for use. We couldn't do it without them.
